I have seen this before, however, it does not work in IE. Also, you can get it work by adding a[b] custom action[/b] for it instead. Not sure how you would get it into a field itself though.

Donate a beer to johnny to debug the IE issue so it works ie7+!

maybe I'll use another method, not image_crud.
