Is grocery able to handle blob type columns?

I wonder if we can come up with a form based on a table with blob/bigblob column, I need to store and retrieve binary data of a photo [of the employee] in the database. I need to show the photo to the user even when the form is in 'Add State'?
Please help me if this is possible?
