well, thank you anyway for your effords to explain installation. For me it does not work.
I have ubuntu server (command line!), LAMP, phpmyadmin and codeignitor works well.
the server is a kvm-virtualized on another server at home. the example database is reachable with phpmyadmin.
the lack is, how install grocery crud manually, no mice no mac no windoze, only bash and linux.
i tried to copy the crud over codeignition with mv, rsync, find, cp but the result is always the same: it appears the codeignition welcome screen.
"That's it! You can now celebrate that you can use the power of grocery CRUD in your project."
great, but i cannot

With your link it's magically running now :D
Thank you very much Johnny.
But i used http://<IP>/index.php/examples and had to modify config.php with the IP address.
I wonder if there is a way to use only the lazy link http://<IP> or in the future http://fqdn
Say only yes or no, then i will search myself the way as I want anyway learn more about codeignitor and grocery crud.
Thank you again, it's great.
Best Regards
Maurizio
