I need to add some help for my users on my CRUD. I searched up here and see various questions about tooltips. Has anyone successfully used any of the schemes up here? I played a little with one of them, didn't get it working.If I am going to invest time in it, I'd just like to be sure that others are happy with it? I need some of helping explain things to users without them reading the manual.

You are right asking about others satisfaction as you are investing the most expensive resource - your time. I always try to spend it only on useful things. Some guys give me project management assignment help so I don't have to spend my time on doing this.

What you need is like customization of library. You need to either alter the core library or you need to build extension to the core library.
I will not be able to share you the exact code @this point of time.. but what i can suggest you to do is - go through the following link...
This will help you understand how / what and where to do the modifications.
