Tiny MCE entity encoding

In my new project I have to use the texteditor (which I don't love). Now I've seen that it always does entity encoding. German umlauts for example are automatically converted (ä > ä etc.). I don't need this and I don't want it (it's unnecessary with UTF-8!). How can I get rid of this behaviour? If I put
entity_encoding : "raw"

into the config-file (init section), it doesn't change anything. Is there any other config-option?

SOLVED: stripped down editor configs, cleared cache, closed browser, did a cleaning routine on my pc, opened the browser again, and now it works with entity_encoding raw as it should.

Thank you to mention it. I didn't know that. I have it also to the master release as it is really annoying. https://github.com/scoumbourdis/grocery-crud/commit/7e2e156ce5c3dfd0302d8dbb0407c4ac7cd80bab
