How do you maintain the selected option on a select box in edit view, when I am using a callback. The code I am using below is:

function colour_callback()

{

return '<select name="colour" id="colour">

<option value="null">Please select</option>

<option value="Beige">Beige</option>

<option value="Black">Black</option>

<option value="Blue">Blue</option>

</select>

';

}
