From what I could gather the two themes that comes with the "standard" GroceryCrud 1.5.2 do not behave the same when exporting ! ! !
- flexigrid uses the methods from the library and automaticaly generates a file to download with extension xls, and with the filename containing the date
- datatables uses a Flash program ! ? ! and prompt the user to get a filename for a csv file.
I did not find any mention of this in the documentation (may be I did not look at the right place).
I would think, it would be interesting to mention.
I've managed to change the field separator for flexigrid (modifying the methods).
Is there a way to change the field separator in datatables ?
