change action control display

Hello, I have table with many column and the action control in each row just show "block" like the example. How can I make the action control show with "display:inline" (in one row)? I've tried to change the css in each action control into "display: inline" but no luck. I've also tried to change the column width but also no luck. Can someone help me?

well - this is problem because the content is more on other columns - u need to tweek this with css having set minimum width or something like that !! Sorry i aint a CSS Guy but its worth handling it that way.
