Hi all

 

In the add form of the film_management example the field Actors is displayed as a multiple select box and the Category field as a multiple select dropdown list. I cannot understand where this layout is decided.

I mean, for instance, how could I make both fields appear as dropdown lists?

The 7th, optional parameter in set_relation_n_n() is named priority

If you include this and have a priority, (rank or order) column in your relation table then you will get the multi select box which allows changing the order of the items selected. If you omit this parameter you get a dropdown list
