Add a view button on flexigrid

Hello, I'm trying to add the view button, but it does not work.

Both have had mistakes .. the features / code part from newer version of library would not have been available in the older version and of course, i surely did some goof ups with extracting the code i merged with the newer version. Hence it created trouble and issue for the same. Hearty apologies for the same.
 
I found many may have tried it and have failed so i started putting things to test myself and after getting it running with stable codebase, i committed the code on github for everyone to refer to the same, use it as is,... or extract and glue it with existing project of theirs.
 
 
It's all explained in as what needs to be done in here. 99.99% should work with your existing codebase. It worked with mine .. .01%, just for the unexpected.

Both have had mistakes .. the features / code part from newer version of library would not have been available in the older version and of course, i surely did some goof ups with extracting the code i merged with the newer version. Hence it created trouble and issue for the same. Hearty apologies for the same.
 
I found many may have tried it and have failed so i started putting things to test myself and after getting it running with stable codebase, i committed the code on github for everyone to refer to the same, use it as is,... or extract and glue it with existing project of theirs.
 
 
It's all explained in as what needs to be done in here. 99.99% should work with your existing codebase. It worked with mine .. .01%, just for the unexpected. 

 

 

 

Why do we need to extend the library in order to get a simple view button?

Well.. this is a generic view button that can be applied to all the grocery crud apps.. And extended the library for the only reason, i didnt want to hack in the existing library :) This is for all those who ever wanted to have a generic view button and not code for  it :D

Hmmmmm! Ok! It makes sense like this! Because to be honest it's dead simple to make a custom view button with any functionality we want within!

Well you surely can achieve the same with list.php but i didnt want to temper the existing system and hence i made it a turnaround. If we dont do that, then you will have to exclusively mention unset_view in every page you dont want to see it else everytime the list.php is going to display the view button / .link.
