custom is_unique error message

I've set rule 

 

                 $crud->set_rules('email', 'email','required|valid_email|is_unique[tbl_user.email]');
 
so It is showing error "The email field must contain a unique value" if email is NOT unique.
 
Can I display my custom error like this "This email id is already registered!"
 
I've Grocery Latest version, Windows 7
