Datatables export not working when filtering data

Well title says it all , the export function (with filtering) works only when using

the flexigrid theme .

If you use datatables theme export function exports all records and not filtered data.

Has anyone been able to figure what is wrong with it or better yet has anyone been able to

update the datatables theme to a more recent version ?
